Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with potential and existing clients through various channels to promote our products and services. Your focus will be on building strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and driving business growth through effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Canada Steel is a steel wholesale company with four branches across Southwestern Ontario. We service accounts of all sizes, utilizing our buying power today to get the material customers need. We stock a broad array of Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled, Aluminum, Stainless and specialty products so our customers don't have to.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective and current clients via phone and email.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and business development
  • Provide technical product information and support to clients during the sales process
  • Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or renewal

Requirements

  • Experience in Steel Sales would be an asset
  • An exceptional telephone presence
  • Self motivated
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through capabilities

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their sales career within a supportive organization that values professional development and customer success.

Pay: $45,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
