LOOKING FOR 1 PART TIME EMPLOYEE FOR BETWEEN 1-3 SHIFTS PER WEEK. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS AND SUNDAYS SPECIFICALLY. This would be a good part time second job or for a student who only wants a few short shifts.

BOH/KITCHEN STAFF:
You should have ideally 1+ years of kitchen experience. You do not have to be vegan or vegetarian to work here (our kitchen staff actually now prefer working in a meat free kitchen) but you have to have a passion for making delicious food and making things from scratch.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Current Foodsafe Certification
Excellent communication skills
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment including washing dishes, floors, proper equipment use, hygiene, etc.
Ability to work alone without instruction AND ability to work in a team following direction
Upbeat, positive and hard working personality
Physical ability for tasks that require prolonged standing and ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
Ability to work and maintain your composure in a high-pressure environment.
Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays,
Flexibility to work where the business needs during all shifts.

*** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE*** Our little kitchen can go from zero to insane very quickly and we put out some slightly involved dishes so you really need to love the rush.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure proper rotation of food and minimal waste.
Comply with industry food safety standards.
Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and safe food handling is adhered to.
Perform other related duties assigned by the management team.
Reporting for work on time
