Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
• Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed
• Assist with plating dishes and garnishing for service
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by providing timely assistance with food prep and cooking tasks
• Follow all food safety regulations and health department guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is advantageous
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen safety practices, and meal preparation techniques is desirable
• Familiarity with serving guests and understanding of food presentation standards is a plus
