Duties

• Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, adhering to safety guidelines and operational procedures
• Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to established recipes and quality standards
• Follow strict sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations
• Monitor production lines for quality control issues, making adjustments as needed to ensure product consistency
• Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, portioning, and inventory tracking to support accurate food production processes
• Utilize forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies within the facility
• Support packaging operations by sealing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining food safety standards

Skills

• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and overall food safety practices in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a food industry or food processing plant preferred; familiarity with food processing techniques is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is highly desirable
