Sheet Metal Fabricator

My Fireplace is seeking to hire a full-time residential HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator with experience. Join a growing family owned and operated company which has been in business for over 25 years.

Candidate Responsibilities:

-Successful candidate will be working in our shop fabricating fittings for residential HVAC. Use of Plasma table, Design to Fab software, Air Hammers, clinching machine, hand tools

-Ability to read blueprints and HVAC design layout, drawings and specifications

Candidate Skills:

-Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods

-Must possess strong problem solving and time management skills

-Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Working at Heights training

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Must be able to work individually and with a team

-Must be punctual and dependable

-Residential HVAC sheet metal experience an asset

Tools/Equipment:

Steel-toed CSA safety boots
