Supply Chain Manager

HonestAbove is Singapore's growing food logistics company, delivering fresh ingredients to restaurants, kopitiams, coffee shops, and food vendors across the island in the early-morning window (1 AM to 11 AM). We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end food logistics operations and coordinate our early-morning driver fleet.

This role is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives in fast-paced, time-critical, food-grade operations and enjoys both strategic planning and operational execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain & Procurement (approx 40%)

• Manage end-to-end food ingredient supply chain from supplier sourcing to last-mile delivery

• Negotiate commercial terms with food suppliers and distributors

• Forecast demand based on client orders and seasonality

• Track inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and minimize wastage

• Monitor cold-chain integrity and food safety compliance

Dispatch & Fleet Operations (approx 40%)

• Plan and oversee daily delivery routes for the Class 3 driver fleet (both employees and independent contractors)

• Coordinate the early-morning shift (1 AM to 11 AM) operations directly from the warehouse

• Optimize trip sequencing to meet client delivery time windows

• Monitor driver performance, on-time delivery KPIs, and vehicle utilization

• Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel and charging coordination, and incident response

People & Process Management (approx 15%)

• Lead and develop a team of 5 to 15 drivers (employees and independent contractors)

• Conduct driver onboarding, briefing, and performance reviews

• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dispatch, food handling, and reporting

• Liaise with HR on OPW (Occupational Progressive Wage) compliance, CPF filings, and Singapore Employment Act matters

Client & Stakeholder Management (approx 5%)

• Be the primary operational contact for key food vendor clients

• Resolve delivery issues, complaints, and emergency requests

• Identify upsell opportunities and report client feedback to management

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of supply chain or logistics management experience, preferably in food, FMCG, or last-mile delivery

• Strong understanding of Singapore food safety regulations (SFA), Land Transport Authority rules, and Class 3 commercial vehicle operations

• Proven experience managing a driver or dispatch team

• Excellent communication in English; Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking drivers

• Ability and willingness to work the early-morning operational shift (occasional 12 AM to 8 AM presence required)

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with OPW (Occupational Progressive Wage) compliance for drivers

• Familiarity with route-optimization software (e.g. Onfleet, Routific, OptimoRoute)

• Background in cold-chain logistics

• Experience with HACCP or ISO 22000 food safety frameworks

• Prior experience with independent contractor (gig-economy) workforce models
