Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
• Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
• Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere to ensure repeat business and positive client relationships
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques and current trends
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Effective upselling skills to recommend products or additional services naturally during appointments
• Excellent communication skills for clear consultation and team collaboration
• Experience in retail sales within a salon or similar environment is preferred
• Front desk experience is advantageous for managing appointments and client interactions
