Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, and treatments tailored to client preferences
• Provide professional consultations to recommend suitable styles and products based on individual needs
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
• Upsell hair care products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Deliver excellent customer service by creating a positive experience for each client from greeting through checkout
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth workflow throughout the day
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desires and provide expert advice on hair care routines

Skills

• Proven experience in hair styling and current knowledge of latest trends and techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
• Excellent communication skills for clear consultation and team collaboration
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions
• Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
• Professional attitude, creativity, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.00-$45.00 per hour
